If no possible way to install a local LLM, how would you go about this? I use it for work, synthesising, texts, emails, searching through certain documents, it honestly saves me plenty of time, but I always double check, I have ChatGPT and Perplexity opened side by side and I disable (data sharing and training) if that's true..
If you want to still live in mud huts and eat mosquito burgers, sure. We can go back to a 15 hour week. You want iphones, computers, cars, advanced medicine, pharmaceuticals, and Netflix? We're all gonna need to work a littler harder. At least until AI powered robots replace us at any rate.
Well, what do you think undercover people do? they go under the presumption that something is going to happen and they gather evidence- they could’ve easily done this with AI‘s tip off
That's completely false. Chatgpt is very strict about antisemitism (even more so than other types of racism). I think the king of antisemites would have been banned from Chatgpt immediately, lol.
>>the solution is to make LLM owners legally liable for the use of their tools
Yes, people being legally responsible for their own actions is a basic principle of law; but the problem here is that it's not enough.
AI is the biggest technological revolution in human history, and its happening at lightening speed. The plus side is that its good effects will come with a rapidity that most pe…
I'd say you're wrong about your second point. AI coding, in the last 2-3 months has become seriously impressive.
the middle class has already been almost wiped out, the swe "young professional tech class" has acted like they are gods immune to market forces for the past two decades, now that they might have to be subject to automation they run around screaming as if they are indicative of American society as a whole. Hilarious really
No offense but this is gatekeeping language.. I started coding in 98 on an hp compact with my first language being PHP... do I use AI now? YES.. who gives a fk if people cant read code.. they will learn as they build and learn to tweak things.
So much overreacting and hand-waving.
If you don't commit any crimes, these databases have no effect on you. The most egregious story they could find was a person who **stole a car** and **took it on a police chase**. He thinks the database gave him 6 years. I think if you don't want to go to jail for 6 years don't steal cars or try to run from the cops.
Just like every criminal control measure…
And the working class get butt fucked yet again as hundreds of thousands lose their jobs to self driving cars.
Abuse of power? The President, as the Head of the Executive Branch, has every right to fire whoever he wants in the Executive Branch.
every time i see high voted threads with low comments i just assume its bots upvoting these.
your are both speaking form a very ignorant emotional perspective.

The problem is there is no way to gurantee people will take the aid and stop poaching. That doesn't make the people evil. It's not like the little aid the community recives sudenly makes them rich.

The ideal solution would be to gurantee a high standart of living which would also include a proper poli…
The DiCaprio Foundation [has invested $80 million](https://www.leonardodicaprio.org/about/) in sundry causes over the past 20 years, with much of it [going to fight climate change](https://www.leonardodicaprio.org/projects/climate-change/).
But hey, carry on clinging to your assumptions.
mostly its called "incompetent sensor placement" like how someone caught a 500hp tractor-trailer parked beside the weather site in France or the ice cream truck parking so it's refrigerator vents heat onto the weather station in Scotland.
More than 80% of the stations do not meet the minimum requirements for adjustable input and 50% are so badly maintained or altered as to be considered criminal…
Being against abortion doesn't automatically mean that you support Trump, are religious or do you hate women.
Just putting that out there.
As Marx put it, Capitalist production “undermines the sources of all wealth – the earth and the working class”. The Marxist approach to the environment, linking the destruction of the planet to a system that thrives on the exploitation of working class people around the world, is now center piece among the Youth of the all Nations.
Any action that criminal Capitalist governments will be able to …
\> I don't think I've ever heard her speak as though she is an authority, only as a young person who is going to be stuck with the result of climate change.

So you somehow missed when she called for "collective action" to dismantle "colonial, patriarchal, and racist systems of oppression". [https://www.project-syndicate.org/commentary/climate-strikes-un-conference-madrid-by-gret…
India is a very racist country indeed. How can your birth decide if you’re a fucking servant to some rich fuck
Edit: hard to define the caste system; genetically they are the same ‘race’ but castes are like sub-races, hence my using racist. But you do you
If Twitter cares about retaining users outside these demographics, and they should given that their userbase has been stagnant for a while, or retaining users who care about bias, they'll address it or at least pay it lip service.
"The algorithm only shows people what they want" Sure, but consumers of content are only half the story here - Twitter depends on content *producers* just as much if …
