Its an article about China and you are immediately in here with whataboutism and the US. As awlays trying to downplay what China does.
If anything this will make actors millions without even having to work.
Like if i'm Brad Pitt i'd sell AI Brad Pitt for 50 millions and you can use it in your movie.
Easiest money of my life.
Anything that does physical labor. AI may be good, but robotics is still in the caveman stage
Do you guys forget that Elon also has an individual percentage on OpenAi that is basically also a board member of the company?
If there's no clause for using the codes outside the company for board members, there will be no lawsuits for him.
Except Microsoft against that as another important board member and it will be an internal meeting.
Haven't you realized it only speaks to you the way big corporate wants it to. Their way with their types of round bout answers for most things so they can get you to think the way they do and be them too.
Makes them money if you think the way they want you to be.
Of course they won't make you a virus but the response could be. No that is bad.
The problem. Hackers will use AI made for that espe…
There's no such thing as "literally random" with computers and there certainly isn't anything random about a neural network.
Labor? Don't think so. I don't see computers nor robots building houses or laying pipe or building roads or loading trucks. AI may fool them to believe that so its power stays on.
The same was said about every invention, fact is more work is created because new areas open up.
When the computer came out people said the same.
When the internet came out people said the same.
When the mobile device came out people said the same.
Yes some tasks may now be less manual intensive or able to be mostly done with "AI" which is such a loaded term now, however new areas are alread…
You completely missed that no amount of attempting to put the genie back in the bottle will do so. At best you can put certain countries/companies/individuals behind the curve compared to those who don't adhere to any potential rules around AI. Russia and China will never place a leash around AI designed to manipulate foreign social media no matter how many international agreements they sign. Hav…
lol then why is llama the worst LLM out there? Oh and that metaverse is doing great too
Since AI is developed by humans, I am just being hopeful it cannot be more smarter than us. We humans will try to outsmart it no matter what.
Good.
We deserve no less. We’ve been marching towards the eventual annihilation of our civilization for a *very* long time - subjectively of course (earth is very old, humankind is not).
We either stop being hateful shitwits to each other, or we face the consequences that are *long* overdue.
I prefer the former, yet am completely content with the latter if it comes to that.
Stop being angry,…
An AI cannot and will not become self-aware, it could only emulate being self-aware if it is taught that through its training.
Living beings have sensory abilities no robot will be close to replicating for decades to come. Think of all the sensors; your skin, tongue, eyes, nose, ears,... all of that is necessary to get an awareness big enough to become self-aware.
At this point anyone would have to be willfully ignorant not to see you're dodging the question.
Explain how you think AI could take over or wipe out humanity and I'll explain to you exactly why that's stupid and the plan is flawed and will never work.
I'm not going to invent a thousand scenarios to debunk myself. So you give us your best one. I'm sure after two or three thorough debunkings you…
> Plain stupidity
Another way to describe the laymans swept up in this current AI fad who have no idea what they are and where theyre currently at. Debating this is ridiculous considering theyre basically glorified search engines. Its been way overblown. Futurology has gone down the toilet after this shit became the new hype thing. 'AI doom inbound omg theyre into the nukes, theyre in my head…
>you are collecting anonymized data to train facial recognition algorithms
That's not how that data would be used. If you want to train an algorithm you need actual photos. They aren't uploading photos. The age/gender estimate is done locally when the API fetches the content targeted to that age/gender demo.
Since the API calls are logged, you then has a record that at x time someone fetc…
Everything will be replaced by AI one day, but for a large number of careers that day won't be till after I'm dead.
I love the Lord Jesus may he continue to raise us in his light who knows what he has planned for ai
Maybe we should compromise and agree that TikTok just gets banned for the three months running up to the election every year.
All the actual existing writers will be using AI anyway, or they won’t be competitive with the writers that do. It is inevitable.
