We deserve no less. We’ve been marching towards the eventual annihilation of our civilization for a *very* long time - subjectively of course (earth is very old, humankind is not).
We either stop being hateful shitwits to each other, or we face the consequences that are *long* overdue.
I prefer the former, yet am completely content with the latter if it comes to that.
