I got fired by the Ai camera for trying to fix the shitty gps that they give u while I was on route and couldn’t pull over cus I was on a busy street…. Boy was that a mistake smh don’t pull out the phone they give you … even if it loses connection.. they’ll fire you.

As a video editor, I see AI as just another tool to help us do our job better. It’s not something to fear or worry about replacing us. At the end of the day, it’s still about how you use it, and that takes skill and creativity.

Than this still leads to number of those editors being fired because that company can now do it with just 3 or 4 of them. (theoretically speaking)

However, new potential clients for such a company could also be reducing as these clients also learn about these AI editing tools. Some of those clients might now try AI edeting for themselfes instead of outsourcing it to proffesionals. We already see this happening with adds. just to point out one example.
