I'm sorry to break it to you, but you are gravely mistaken .
Tesla's FSD is actually classified as a SAE level 2 and with that it is merely an "advanced driver assistance system" ADAS, despite the misleading and in many countries illegal marketing name, by the way.
So the "driver" of a Tesla operating with FSD activated sits behind the steering wheel, in the driver seat, at all times. There really is nothing 'self driving' about a car that legally is and legally has to be driven by a driver at all times.
When you read the Tesla's owner's manual and the manufacturer's instructions with all the warnings about how to operate FSD, then you will see there really is no room of any sort for unsupervised driving, and you will understand that the driver is always in charge and responsible, and the driver is required to be in control at all times.
Maybe go and ask some of the Tesla owners who reportedly had their 'Full Self Driving' system suddenly deactivate on them, ...immediately before impact.
And then try and see what they think who was in control of the vehicle during the accident, and what their insurance companies had to say about all that?
