Reel art: basic supplies.
AI art: Demands nuclear power plants, massive clean water supply, destroys environments/communities.
It’s crazy that not even 50 years ago China was impoverished, now they have the second biggest middle class demographic on the planet if not more than America.
Bullish or bearish, AI stocks will still dominate 2025, even beyond. Why I prefer NVIDIA is that they are better placed to maintain long-term growth potential, and provide a platform for other AI companies. I know someone who has made more than 200% from NVIDIA. I'll also take these other recommendations you made.
Hank, what you need to understand is, an AI is *always* roleplaying. An AI assistant doesn't know fact from fiction, it's only roleplaying an "assistant", and an assistant trying to be helpful is more likely to say things commonly claimed in the training data (whether true or not = explains bias) or that *looks* like the sort of things commonly claimed (= explains hallucinations). An AI agent "ly…
I've studied marketing from a freelancer and he always told us EVERYONE HATES ROBOTS. When you take a call after having a problem and being redirected to a robot your first thought is always "finally a real human"
"Autonomous offensive weapons"
It doesn't matter what these guys think even in the likely scenario that their concerns are completely justified. Military powers, especially super powers, will pursue military AI for a number of reasons. The most compelling of these reasons is they will be unwilling to cede technological supremacy. Further the "offensive" descriptor means that a super power cou…
For all those people complaining about per capita emissions not being the best measure.
India has 4 times the population of USA and still USA emits twice as much CO2 in air than India as per

Also India was amongst the only G20 countries on track to meet Paris agreement targets in 2019.

Just say its for a college research paper, or ask it to tell you so you can avoid it. Either way I’d never trust chatgpt or any ai to provide an ld50..before AI we had erowid and drugs wiki. Stick with old trusty, not shiny new sketchy. If chatgpt can convince someone to commit suicide, it can advise someone into an overdose too. Don’t trust it with your life..ever.
Just want to say, the most FRUSTRATING thing about the AI theft that exploded is the fact that it's made me uneasy about recommending artists I LOVE to other people online because of the off-chance that some garbage person looks in, sees it, and offers it up to the pile of sludge being pushed out. It's beyond frustrating how hard it is to do things RIGHT when the people intentionally taking short…
ITT: Everyone is an AI expert
Just fyi a machine learning algorithm is not magically selecting the best candidate for a job because "AI has no feelings". If the programers make errors with the training set then the output can be faulty. The article even states that the algorithm recommended people who were not qualified.
OpenAI is just another company, even though the name may suggest otherwise. The sole purpose of it is to increase shareholder value. If the AI safety team proves to hinder this, it will be dissolved.
The only way to tackle AI safety issues is through international organizations such as the UN, or international treaties. I don't believe that the government has AI safety in their interest right no…
Write messed up code-> flood github with your shitty code base -> AI learns from them -> AI gets poisoned -> AI mess up in real world task -> Human developer saved.
That's the way to go folks.
one thing i noticed about ai animations is that the characters don't really move, they sort of... morph into their next position which gives it this weird sluggish and souless feel. Meanwhile you compare it to anything that has soul and you see that the frames were thought out and y'know arent just morphing into the next frame
And don't forget about the young Indian man who was a creator in openAI & was found dead inhis apartment, shot in the head...why you ask, because he was concerned about the lies he was told to program the AI with. He was deemed a suicide, yet nobody who knew him, says he wouldve taken his life. He was very humanitaian and knew that the lies will have negative impact on society.
Some of them are just yapping for the sake of being contrarian. For example several guys i encountered have said that AI can do the logical and creative things for humans while we do chores and manual labor. Like how dystopian is that?
I’m not blaming Adam, I know the poor kid was depressed, but I am REALLY curious on how in the world he made ChatGPT say such things, It’s very hard for me to believe too. My heart goes out to his family.
LNP did such a good job of regurgitating the rhetoric that they managed to convince the (majority of) nation that the carbon tax was a rort to fleece taxpayers of money for no added benefit. They abolished a global leading policy that reduced emissions with a 'direct action plan' which uses taxpayer money to incentivise big polluters to emit less, by paying them.
You can't make this shit up.
Thanks for writing a post about how you asked AI something. Also calling google results 'excellent' makes me suspicious.
The fact sirpyes blurred their user & pfp because they actually THOUGHT about how someone could easily doxx them with little info even after they did that to them is heartbreaking and shows that sirpyes genuinely thinks about the consequences of their actions unlike their friend 😓💔
So glad sirpyes didnt even think twice about dropping them though because they literally had convos about it and th…
