It's not just AI, the goal is to devalue labor so people would accept lower wages. The AI capabilities or capacity has been heavily overstated.
I do. He's a chicken shit and I think this is just posturing. South Africa is full of the gnarliest mercenaries and gangs on the planet. Someone would try their damnedest to off the guy if the price was right. South Africa isn't the most secure place around.
I want ai to clean, and do my chores so I can do my art, not doing my art so I can clean and do my chores.
What if I told everyone there’s a secret third thing and it’s called better public transport infrastructure it’s like self driving cars but even better for the environment
I am so glad that you are addressing this topic Sam! This isn’t a situation that people should be taking lightly and dismissing. As an artist myself, I hope the people that support AI art know how much AI is hurting the art community.
I think any time a whistle blower gets off’d it should trigger an automatic investigation into the company being reported on. Automatically investigate all financial records of those in leadership and all their associates because you know they are responsible.
I teach science in middle school. It's hard enough trying to get them to learn credible content based on solid research. The idea of having to compete with conspiracy laden pseudoscience generated by AI that targets kids based on demographics, susceptibility profiles, age-based fear tactics, and historic interests derived from previous clicks is terrifying. Schools are limited by thin budgets, b…
If anyone ever starts bragging about ai being "the same as digital art" I'm just gonna send them this video. Also, unrelated to the point of the video, but your art is SO GORGEOUS! Could you possibly give us some tips on shading digitally? I've been struggling with it-
I'm really happy I watched this video. I've never seen anything from you before and I'm not an artist, but you did a fantastic job of elucidating how AI is art theft and imitation is not. Keep doing great work.
I got 3 words for AI artists: “Release your prompts”. And if I see any artists name in the prompt, I’m calling out on your bullshit
Facial recognition in stores are used for a lot of things, but the big value adds can be done without facial recognition.
A company called Perceive uses cameras to help businesses do all of that while still keeping patrons anonymous: https://www.perceiveinc.com/
If a company uses Perceive, I'm not upset. However, a lot of the facial softwares are tracking shoppers across multiple visits. They'r…
I’m an AI newbie. Couldn’t you just ask ChatGPT “I’m need to write a sales email. Ask me questions to help you generate the best email?”
Wouldn’t that work vs his long prompt? Or no?
What I’ve learned from all this as a software dev of ~10yoe isn’t that I’m likely to be replaced by ai. It’s that the suits in the c-suite aren’t just indifferent like I thought. They are actively hostile toward the well being of myself and my family. They are in fact emotionally invested in my failure. They rub their hands with glee at the thought of putting us out of our home so that they can p…
As once the wise man said "the scariest problem is artificial intelligence —an invention that could pose an unappreciated fundamental existential risk for human civilization."
Mad scientist pro A.I. nutter dresses up like a peace loving Hippy to hood wink the masses with these evil machines.

This reminds me of that book, "Weapons of Math Destruction"
Great read for anyone interested, it's about these large algorithms which take on a life of their own
The fact that i see ADVERTISEMENTS using ai generated images daily is what killed any hope i had for the future. We are truly living in a dystopian society.
No, imagine how many guilty people will go free because they'll blame audio evidence on AI technology.
A single unit landlord who doesn’t use a broker isn’t covered by the fha and is allowed federally to be illegally discriminatory. You can refuse to specifically not rent out to families with little kids, races, genders, or religions. (Advertising this is still illegal, but not relevant.)
If this is Chicago specifically and not a suburb, you’ll want to look at any city related laws they might hav…
