he literally said we should "respect" the AI's wishes, that it should have to "give its consent" in order to be worked on, just because he's articulate and well spoken doesn't make him a genius, just how low is your bar? the guy's clearly an idiot, of course robots, or computer programs whether "sentient" or not, shouldn't be asked "permission" to be worked on lol.... pure insanity.
