@daguard411 "If what you do even inadvertently results in death" so then by your definition the parents should be charged with manslaughter, no? Manufacturers are not directly responsible for a product causing harm unless the product itself is faulty or dangerous, then that's considered negligience. A shipbuilder wouldn't be charged with Manslaughter because of a ship sinking unless he was cutting corners on purpose. Character ai as a company doesn't even interact with their users; yk who does? The parents who casually leave guns lying around for their mentally struggling kid to pick up. That's gross neglience. If anything, they should be charged.
