@Moonspec Yes, what if. We haven't seen what a person would experience if born with mechanical eyes.
I get where you're coming from though. Likely rooted in that that our own consciousness arises from emergent properties, so large emergent properties in llm vector space seems plausible to do similar.
I think already we have a sort of philosophical zombie with llms but not true consciousness. Maybe in the future. But I think it might be an unfalsifible situation.
