@lih3391 Agreed. Abstraction lets us achieve incredible things with computers. And understanding how a computer functions from a low level of abstraction through to a high level of abstraction has only made them seem more magical to me.
But abstraction is only a good thing provided it doesn't prevent you doing what you need to do, correctly. Even though the guy in the video is essentially using python as glue between API calls to C/C++ code, he still needs to understand the absolute basics of python, or he's going to make mistakes. He even admitted to using LLMs to write all of the code for him.
