Even Nightshade website says, that just like other security measures, it isn't perfect and in the future ai image scrapers may find a way to undo it, so an image that was protected with nightshade will probably become useful for them after several years. But also like other security measures, as long as it remains updated and maintained it should be fine, so at least new art won't be stolen or, if it will be stolen, it will harm people who stole it. And it's still better than nothing
