It does. There have been many different studies, documentaries and even films on the matter. The main problem is that AI receives a lot more data about white people than other races, making its responses to POC people less reliable. This is most obviously seen in facial recognition. Many AIs have a harder time recognising a black person than a white person, specially if we are talking about a black woman.
