The problem is, that using AI to outperform economic competitors (no matter if in private space, e.g. optimizing investments, or on a company scale) is so tempting, that it will always be a dominant strategy to use. I think, that humanity will face an economic Hiroshima moment. Imagine how tempting it is, to use AI to optimize a nations military cap.!
