Thank you for this. I'm an indie game developer (board and video games) and I occasionally use AI art for prototyping because as a solo dev it would be too expensive for me to commission the art for a project that may not even work out, and since I'm doing literally all the other parts of the design myself I don't have time to just "learn to draw". People who treat AI art like it's a replacement for human art are delusional, but nowadays I feel like I'm being judged for even using it at all, even though I fully intend to commission a human artist once my projects get beyond the prototype phase. Like many controversial subjects, I wish the discourse was not just a shouting match between the two extremes.
