I just watched this video for the fist time but without specific examples being discussed It seems to me that the concern is that AI produces artworks with the style of a specific artist. If that's the concern I don't think there is a copyright law that protects style. The copyright law only protects specific artworks. A copyright violation for example is if a specific artwork or part of it is reproduced identically and claimed as someone else's ownership. However if someone creates a unique artwork with a style of another artist this is not a copyright violation. I doubt the copyright law can be changed to protect artistic style because artists inspire and influence each other to some degrees and all creations can be considered as some degree of copyright violations. Ethically and morally I feel that there should be some sort of protection of artistic styles that are clearly recognizable as the work of a specific artist when they are created by someone else. Maybe the AI itself can be trained to recognize unique artistic styles and help the law with distributing properly the credits or commercial proceeds from the usage of such style.
