uhm, yes it is. if someone uses your own image without your permission and even uses it for their own financial gain, what is it other than stealing? personal images are often not under copyright, obviously, but ai is also trained on MILLIONS if not BILLIONS of copyrighted images.
it's comparable to someone discovering a new way of producing something, getting a patent for it and then someone just comes along and steals that new method you found, slightly changes it and then says "oh but i don't use your EXACT method"
