@Leto2ndAtreides Well, the only real difference (simplifying, of course) is the lacking in the current AI bots of a long term model of their own history (their actions, including thoughts, and their observations, including our text input) that would make possible to develop better social interactions in the long term (and maintain and develop personalities). This should not be superficially done but it should be part of the way they perceive the world.
And we, by the way, are not "continuously running" neither as our consciousness level is not the same all the time. Think about deep sleep or think about deep planning versus fast thinking.
