@skierpage You misunderstood my first comment . I was comparing AI models to parrots because parrots mimic human speech without understanding it. Similarly, large models don’t understand the words or images they generate. They don’t think or reason; they predict what comes next based on patterns and correlations in data they’ve seen before, not word-for-word or pixel-for-pixel, but statistically. If you ever asked any AI model really specific specification on stuff, it will get stuff wrong most of the time. LLMs fails at non trivial tasks. same with most AI video generated, the physics doesn't match what is happening, like you see a knife slide thought but doesn't cut through things, or you see a mismatch between stirring and animation produced. That most convincing AI videos are the one how hides the detail by using stylized generation (Pixar style , or night vision style , or security footage style), because they can hide better the imperfections with the style. So, while the results can look intelligent, what’s really happening is sophisticated mimicry, not genuine understanding or thought.
