Art doesn't have to be good to be art. We have a lot of tools already to find prompts and access for disabled artists. If you can click a button on an AI generator, art programs are accessible. For those who say it makes it accessible to those without talent, is a 5 year old making art bad? Would you tell them to stop drawing because it sucks and to use AI? No. They're still making art. It's no less grand. They are not any less of an artist than Leonardo Da Vinci. It's good for their creativity and development. It's a process. I wouldn't use AI for hands anyway because it can't generate them. That's like looking up all the answers on a homework. You won't learn anything. It might get you to pass once, but did you learn? No. If you feel like you can't do art, it can be frustrating. But it doesn't need to be good. Everyone outside art spaces acts like it's so gatekept but it's really not. Cave paintings are art. Bad art is art and it's ok to be bad at it. Even the best artists I know struggle with liking their art. Please just draw! It may not be good, or super amazing, but you can fully say you made it :) And yes, it does steal from art images posted on the Internet. Artists should be paid and credited for their work, don't you think? It also allows businesses to get away with not hiring artists, killing the very thing AI 'artists' want to make accessible. Everyone is an artist until rent is due.
