I had the same take on him. At first, he said she'd let him lead but kept interrupting and redirecting the dialogue. And no human response to her story about the woman having to forfeit her and her son's basic needs to train AI to do her job - he just coldly and abruptly shifted direction. An example of how to cope with the cognitive dissonance he spoke of earlier.
