I built an LLM embedded Magic Mirror with a conversational layer, hooked it with a bunch of tools including web scraping etc. and some memory - and only when I started interacting with the GPT model like with an Alexa do I see still the limitations, hallucinations and limitations of LLMs. It fails to decide when it needs to find the right data online, and when to keep searching, it often tries to give you answers from it's outdated memory even when I ask for actual information. I feel that calling them Advanced Autocomplete is more accurate.
Another example - I tried creating a new job description for a role in an obscure area of analytics using ChatGPT. It came up with a crappy description just because getting the right description required critical thinking - and doing deep research online to find more obscure links / sites.
