@TonyCarrot69 No it isn't, those are different skills. Haven't used reddit since people there started doing what you just did, misrepresent what I said to disregard what is being argued, like what constitutes copyrightable material and trying to make it about which skill is more impressive.
If a tool was made that allowed people to project an image from their mind right onto a canvas, would that not be copyrightable because a software did it? AI generated pictures kinda work on the same basis, they just don't read your mind, you have to spell it to them.
Sure the training data "should" not be using material without consent, but there's plenty of art that is under public license that AI can be trained on. But you didn't even bring the reasonable argument of training data, you just dismissed, ignored and judged.
