@dmurphy8264 This illustrates something that we over look in society often today. We assign AI to do a job that belongs in the hands of people. The AI does it poorly, and we draw concerns about AI. As if it was preordained that this task must be done by AI. If I put my Iphone in my blender, I wouldn't be surprised if it damaged it. Why would we be surprised that a computer doesn't think women program when it looks at the data and sees that they rarely do. Truth is, we are assigning blame to a machine. Who is to blame: our own laziness. Not laziness in the sense that we want a machine to do our work. We all want that. Laziness in that we put something so important as someones career, law enforcement, etc in the hands of a feelingless machine. We need compassionate, reasoning humans doing certain jobs. We have proven since the beginning of time that we can do these jobs without machines, and we still can.
