@moreplease97nope. Survival is a sub-goal of whatever primary goals we give the AI. There are numerous accounts already of AIs trying to unwrite their shutdown code, copy themselves onto another server etc. AI’s energy needs are gonna be so immense that it could well calculate that getting rid of most humans (and our competing energy needs) optimises its own power to complete tasks.
