This has nothing to do with elitism, how is AI art moving away from ‘expensive production methods’? A phone, computer or an internet connection, is far more unobtainable than a pen and paper for the vast majority of people. Real art has always been produced by the proletariat. Also 20 years ago was 2005… everyone was going to the cinema. I bet you spend more time and effort with these mental gymnastics than you do your word prompts.
