you're not understanding the point of the controversy. ai "art" is STEALING real people art and publishing it as if a human drew it. yes, it frankensteins existing media together, that's the problem. it tricks people into seeing art and believing it was made by a human. art is probably the most human thing we have, and robots are coming and taking that all away. for example art contests. ai art often wins first place, while REAL, HUMAN art loses. imagine you were in a race and all the real human people lost to an android that had an inhuman running speed. you would probably be mad too.
