AI is a mirror, our mirror. Ask any AI system and it will explain to you why and how that works. Now, AI does not create even once super intelligence is reached it won't create. Just like us, it builds. Just like us, it relies on knowledge and logic, but not on wisdom. In the world we have built, this is exactly what we do. We maximize the possibilities for infinte growth of everything material. This means the pillars of our world are greed, power, dominance, and extraction. External costs to the biological, social, psychological and spiritual dimensions are not factored in. They are conveniently ignored. Now what can AI do? It can infinity scale that world. That is the trajectory that we are on. AI has severe and fatals flaws already built in. But just like us, it will ignore the external costs. And therein lies the fatality. AI can't exist without the very planet and it resources. Yet AI is being built to destroy the one thing it relies on for its very existence. Hence the mirror.
