In any event it becomes illegal even non-porn AI generation would be illegal. It's already technically illegal to use someone's likeness for personal profit, but it's not illegal to generate ai photos of real people - however once it is, you likely won't be able to generate a picture of Taylor Swift holding a cat either, because very likely what will be illegal is to even include photos of real people (or atleast ones that haven't given permission) in the training material for the AI.
An AI doesn't just know things, they have to be "trained" with material (photos, text, video, audio whatever the generative AI is designed to generate) and the people making the AI would be the ones breaking the law, because before their AI can even generate a picture of QT they need to use already existing photos of her.
This is why ChatGPT doesn't actually know anything and makes up alot of stuff, especially regarding scientific papers - because you have to pay license to even have access to the scientific paper in it's entirety, so if you ask ChatGPT a scientific question, the likelihood it'll just make shit up is incredibly high, same goes for law etc.
