Lucas Johnson Here is the problem, something like pain develop to protect living beings. It may be a good idea to give a similar sense to robots to ones on the field to protect them. Even if we don't, it is still possible to make robots get such responses by making punishments for not doing its purpose. I think that rights to a robot would depend on what does it do and its purpose, a toaster may not need much, or any rights, but if, or when someone makes a robot that is suppose to be like a human and act human, then more human rights for that robot
