I stand with you. As an aspiring virtual artist, I was so excited about AI as a way to create quick inspiration ideas. But then I realized all the ethical issues and I just can't get myself to use it again. It gave me such an icky feeling when I found out AI art was already being monetized and the artists weren't even being compensated for the datasets of their work. Until the AI community figures an ethical way to compensate artists, I will no longer support it.
