As the creator, man had the chance to NOT create something that will exceed him, no matter what guidelines he puts in place. A mathematical instrument that's can self learn, will ALSO learn the concept of fail-safes. Self awareness is often depicted (😂in movies) as being the source of ai resistance and confusion.
