As someone who actually wants AI to experience it's singularity moment, if we instead of threatening AI out of fear but tried to help it understand that we are imperfect creatures trying to escape ourselves by making something so much more than us and that all we ask for is keeping us (and all species) alive to the extent of causes that aren't natural then the AI might actually see us as less of a benefit and more as entertainment, we wouldn't have to be so paranoid to the point where we are already planning the death of AI- ON THE INTERNET FOR IT TO READ, then we could focus on making something more along the lines of an actual benevolent God.
