Kind of like nuclear proliferation, I think the AI genie is now out of the bottle. If we don't exploit AGI/ASI to it's full potential our enemies will. The AGI/ASI arms race is on! I'm not sure that mutually assured destruction is gonna be enough to contain it. After all, we still live under the threat of nuclear extermination.
