There is absolutely no reason to freak out! People that spend money on ai art are not the kind of people that would’ve commissioned a real artist anyway. Also this is giving people the wrong idea about how art is made. If you start making a bunch of rules and laws that “original art” can’t have any traces of other people’s art then all you’ll be hurting is human artist. Human artist take inspiration from reference all the time. I’m just worried that we are blowing this too out of proportion and will end up shooting our selfs in the foot. AI art is here! Deal with it! Compete with it! Or use it! I’m an artist and I can guarantee you I’m not scared of a machine. I love making art and I wouldn’t have decided to do it full time if I was gonna get scared and quit as soon as it started getting a little hard. Pick up a pencil/brush and let’s get to work.
