The only "System" I've experienced based on chatting with a Chinese pen pal/friend was automated hiding of non-focused faces on Wechat, but I don't know if it's just China which isn't deliberately exposing their kids like the western Ouroboros seems to do with zeal. I dunno, is something in the 'middle' a solution or are we both on different "not ideal, but best/most realistic currently"? I do get curious about how our corruption seems to be inverted, perhaps because of monarchy, but "The West" is a lot more corrupt in 'high places' while from the sporadic (too depressing if I binge) Rotten Mango I feel the corruption in China seems more on the middle-manager scale. (I think she's the only one doing international, after like the ~200 first podcasts being in the US) Actually didn't need to take example from "true crime", I remember my Chinese pen pal telling me about a professor wanting 'favors' and being a pain holding back documents/grading. It did end well as far as I remember, he was likely just being opportunistic, but yeah, I think here the opportunism would be to get the teacher to admit/offer something "quid pro quo". You get "high" enough up though, you get into "Delta" and all that jazz I don't need to get desensitized to, also if I "know" stuff I stop speculating and only reply if asked specifically, rather then "who do you think x?" People are easy though, nothing changes, we are "dumber" from spreading 200 million souls among 2 billion vessels and I like thinking, calculating and deliberation (free-thought) Sorry, I'm required to go on some tangents and while I speculate into something I obviously got not way of confirming/denying, I'm not really invested, I just find 'inversion' a curious thing to wrap my head around an what my "thoughts" would be if I was.
