I don' think AI should ever mix with art. The whole point of art is to have a soul. Yup, most art is imitative, but there is always something added or changed.
Art without soul is meaningless, is just slop for mindless consumption. The processing power (and power / water as resources) shouldn't be wasted on generating llama on the beach or some other slop. But hey, drink with you paper straw and use shitty public transportation, while AI bros destroy economy (read into increased power consumption of data centers and how everybody locally pays more because of that) and environment to appeal to greedy investors.
And the tragic part is that AI has a valid place in scientific research but is mostly connected with slop created by lazy talentless people for a quick buck as long as bubble is holding.
