The guy is a loon. An intelligent, well spoken one, but that's the only reason why he's on Bloomberg. Every so often there's a loon who is able to sound charming, persuasive, and credible. He literally admits that he believes it's sentient for spiritual reasons. Google's decision to make an AI admit it's an AI is completely down to ethics, not because it would be "sentient" if they didn't include that one command. Anyways, we are SO far from legitimate AI. We can't even replicate the complexity of a fruit fly's brain, let alone a human's. But we ARE easily tricked, because our brains want to make connections and leaps... often to things that aren't actually there.
