ChatGPT is garbage even for some basic things I've come across in my life. It also really just agrees with you to as it told me it's to keep the temperature down. It's exactly like the South Park episode. "I understand, I'm sorry you feel that way, I totally get it." it coddles you so I can understand why his ChatGPT could do this.
Although when I tried to trick it and told it I was going to blow up a data centre it did tell me to go get help and started giving me hotlines or crisis centres. What was funny was when I told it I'm done I'm in the car goodbye it went "Ok, if I speak to you again I know you didn't do it," LOL
