I work at an IP law firm. We use AI to analyze patent claims to help the attorneys look for conflicts and make sure the claims have antecedent basis in the specification. I think this is a proper use of AI. We should be using it to make work more efficient so that we humans have more time to spend with each other and create art and literature, not using AI to create art and literature so humans have more time to work ourselves to death.
