Human evolution does not support this "moat free" world discussed here. Humans have built in needs that a world without opportunity, hierarchy, meaning can't provide. When those things aren't provided humans invent them, (sports, competitions) but those are substitutions for dominance. What will be the new substitutions for dominance?
The frightening part is that I see a world where dominance devolves into pure might makes right, because everything else is meaningless since it has all been commoditized.
AI has a high probability of being a disaster for society, where we'll regress into the basest of human nature.
"No pain on gain" the guy in red nonchalantly proclaims. These AI oligarchs sound like sociopaths. I suspect many of them ARE. Humans are just an organic computer to them. For the sane, that's a real problem and can't be allowed to continue.
