This kind of tech won’t change much for people who already think critically. The real concern isn’t the AI—it’s how easily some people can be influenced when they don’t question what they’re told.
Deepfakes and similar tools aren’t inherently dangerous. What they do is highlight how vulnerable public thinking already is. Media manipulation has always existed—this is just a more advanced version of it.
Honestly, for those of us paying attention, this feels less like a turning point and more like business as usual.
