Listen, I'm in tech.
Laws "advance" at the speed of a limping snail. We're still struggling to make working laws thst tale the darn internet into account. Tech is just advancing way faster than laws. The problem isn't the technology, it's the speed at which we make laws.
My advice: keep fighting the fight. At some point there will be laws that protect you, same as there are with music. It will never be perfect of course, and there will always be companies who ignore those laws or try to hide their igniring the laws, but at least there will be a law to prevent this from happening.
I also advice everyone to adapt to AI. We can't and honestly shouldn't fight it. If it really is bad we will stop doing it. Of some culture decided eating nails that practice would disappear very soon. Same goes for AI. Adapt to it, let it advance, and if it really is bad, EVERYONE will tey to stop it. It's going to advance sooner or later so it's best to adapt. Try and use that technology for example, to help you and see what uses for it you come up with.
