Disabled artist here! I struggle with joint pain, cramps, and muscle spasms in my arms and hands which directly affects the way I create many types of conventional art, however using that as a reason to support ai art is disgusting. While it’s true that i’m limited, stating that AI art is SO much more accessible implies that i’m unable to create art solely because of my disability. It Is not only insulting but also inherently VERY ableist. In truth my disability implores me to work around it and find new ways to give myself that creative freedom. additionally im able to create many types of real physical art that Generative AI is incapable of replicating, Ai art is not real art.
