I use ChatGPT as a highly specific summary of what I would be able to find by googling if I was willing to dig through pages and pages of blog spam and differing Reddit opinions to land on a general consensus. i think it’s probably great to get its take on major life questions because those have probably been asked and answered a lot in the training set.  As for treating it like an on-demand girlfriend or boyfriend I don’t think that’s super healthy for most people but it might actually help people that would otherwise be lonely and hopeless. Previous generations had pay by the minute hotlines for things like this so I doubt it’s worse than that
