I have to argue the fact that YouTube is gone more extreme if anything they've censored content especially when it comes to gun tubers and gun content. Like you can't even show a fully automatic weapon? What is so scary about that? Are they afraid that guns and jump out of the screen and kill somebody? Are they afraid somebody might know about these and try to make one for themselves? Their rules and regulations are just a form of control.
