#1 is relevant. #2, it’s not that different from what humans do. Humans are still more creative in ways AI isn’t. (You know, for now.)
This reminds me of the “Is Photoshop cheating?” controversy when that software became really popular. Artists could color a hand drawn picture much faster and often better - is that art because a computer helped with the process? (I’d say so.) Is manipulating a photo cheating? (Depends, IMO.)
