I have a question. Let's do a thought experiment here for a sec. So you have AI replace 99% of jobs, and they're in factories, in restaurants etc. How will people without jobs afford your very cheap services?... I've heard of propositions such as universal income or stipend or whatever it's called. But let's really look into the psychology of "why" people work. There's sustainance, but everyone wants to buy a house...not just a house, the best house possible, drive the best car possible, afford the best things possible. So how does a universal basic income address these issues?. My predictions are this, and we've seen this already, companies laying off most of their staffs and suddenly getting very profitable. However let's scale this, say every company lays off most of their staffs, a huge percentage of people won't be able to afford whatever you hired AIs to produce to begin with. Which means you're either in high ticket sales or out of business real quick. People will become more conservative in spending. Companies will spend more in marketing to people who cannot afford to buy, a spiral flushing everyone down the drain, fist the working class and eventually the businesses. AI is a huge leap!. However, let's think bigger (fact is we're going to end up there sooner or later). I think of AI swams building on mars, on the moon, expanding our sphere of influence in space. Heck of you need to hire AI for something let's start building a dyson's sphere 😅.
