When I see that argument about "humans also steal" and the like I think of that one Girl from nowhere episode where she makes so that the girl that wanted to be talented with something actually paints something while in front of hundreds of people, crying and shaking. The painting is dogshit, but her situation is unique so the entire happening of it is a form of art.
The flower she painted in that moment is worth more than what she merely copied before even if not pretty at all, because there are her emotions behind it. The situation is so ironic that it takes the form art. AI cannot feel anguish or pain. It cannot CREATE.
You can type in hundreds of prompt into that generator, puke out an image and it will be just that, an image. Art is an expression of self and might not even always be material.
