These committee seem to have little understanding of AI. I should suggest that they take a simple AI course, such as creating a cat and dog classifier using CNN or generating images using GAN. During the implementation, they should be prohibited from asking others for help and only allowed to rely on ChatGPT, experiencing firsthand the assistance AI provides in research and learning. This way, they won't make laughable statements about how AGI will be in 50 years.
